Glynn County Schools Athletic Director Steve Waters received a big award this week. Waters was named the State Athletic Director of the Year in Class AAAAAA. He received the award at this week's Georgia Athletic Directors Association meetings. He also has been named the Region 2-AAAAAA Athletic Directeor of the Year. As the local athletic director, Waters oversees the athletic programs at Brunswick High and Glynn Academy and also the four middle schools in the county.
