If you already have a bachelor's degree, you may be able to qualify for a Provisional Certificate. This is a 3-year, non-renewable certificate that allows you to teach while you complete a certification program and can only be issued via the request of the hiring school district. The minimum requirements you must meet before seeking employment are as follows:

• A bachelor's degree or higher (regardless of degree concentration); 

1. • Candidate must be able to provide official transcripts from all college/universities attended;

• Induction level or higher passing score on the appropriate GACE content assessment; and
• Completion of the Georgia Educator Ethics (360) Assessment.
