Eight GICCA students were honored as scholarship recipients at its annual end-of-the-year scholarship luncheon.

On March 16, Georgia became one of the first states in the nation to suspend standardized testing requirements in the wake of the COVID-19 school closures, and later received approval from the U.S. Department of Education for the cancelation of all remaining standardized tests in the 2019-2020 school year.

In an effort to prepare for school next fall, we have created a very simple and short survey for you to complete for the upcoming school year to help us more fully prepare to meet the needs of the students.

Seniors participate in drive-by graduation parades at elementary schools in lieu of walking the hallways in their caps and gowns – a time-honored tradition that schools had to forgo due to COVID-19.

Thanks to valuable feedback on the senior survey, graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2020 in Glynn County Schools will be held in July.

The intradistrict transfer (IDT) window will open on Monday, June 1for schools that have available space for the 2020-2021 school year.  The window will close at 11:59 p.m. on June 14.

Due to the cancelation of the GSBA summer conference, slated for June 3-6, the Board will hold its upcoming meeting on Thursday, June 4 at 4:30 p.m.

In May, Kalyn Harris was selected as a Southeast Georgia Positive Athlete award winner. Now, the Brunswick High two-sport athlete has been named the Most Positive Girls Multi-Sport Athlete in the state.
