Game Preview
The Red Terrors and Grovetown are both playing their final games in 2006 Friday night.
Neither team will qualify for the Class AAAAAA state playoffs this season. The field will be set using the final Postseason Rankings with the top 32 teams in the rankings following the completion of the regular season this week going into the brackets.
Friday’s game will be Senior Night for the Terrors.
Glynn has lost two in a row since knocking off Brunswick High in the annual City Championship Game.
The Terrors are expected to play this one without starting quarterback Max Noonan who was injured during the first half of last week’s game at South Effingham and did not return.
Grovetown has won only two games, defeating South Effingham 16-15 in its second region game back in late September. The Warriors also won 21-13 mid-month over Lakeside-Evans which is winless going into its finale Friday at home against Brunswick.
Grovetown did play with Bradwell Institute last week before falling 41-35 to the Tigers.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
