Multi-Tiered Systems of Support
Our district is proud to implement Georgia’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (GaMTSS) for students. This framework uses universal screenings and targeted interventions to provide the exact level of academic and behavioral support each student needs to thrive.
To maximize student achievement and well-being, the GaMTSS framework relies on five essential components:
- Screening: Universal assessments to identify student needs early.
- Progress Monitoring: Continuous tracking to ensure students are responding to support.
- Multi-Level Prevention System: Tiered layers of instruction and intervention tailored to different learning needs.
- Data-Based Decision Making: Using real student data to drive our instructional choices.
- Infrastructure: Building the leadership, resources, and professional development needed for long-term success.
