Unique Learning System is a standards-first, modified curriculum that provides engaging, differentiated instruction to students with moderate to severe needs who are served in special education. Unique Learning System addresses the five pillars of reading instruction, which align to Science of Reading research.
Differentiated Lessons:
ULS provides engaging activities tailored for different ability levels, ensuring age-appropriate learning for all students. With built-in differentiation, it delivers consistent content across levels. Monthly science and social studies themes connect across all subjects, including ELA and math, so students see concepts reinforced in multiple ways. Unique Learning also provides high school content designed for alternative pathways, ensuring all students have access to relevant, standards-aligned learning to meet graduation requirements.
